He enjoys working on many different types of projects, including schools, hospitals, office spaces, and historic buildings. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. Senior Designer
Blake Fitzsimmons
Blake started his career with ETI in 1993 as a Mechanical Technician, while transitioning with the company over the years into a Senior Mechanical Designer. He has always admired ETI’s passion of producing a great set of plans. His favorite projects have been older historic buildings like Lincoln High School and Jefferson County Courthouse. These projects typically require more in-depth verifications of the existing systems before you can even start designing. You never know what you will discover behind that next set of doors.

Bri started at ETI in July 2020 on the mechanical team. Her most current common hobbies outside of work are playing recreational sports, going to concerts, gardening, and traveling. Bri has traveled to 10 countries outside the U.S., and she has lived in two of them: Nicaragua and Spain. She enjoys working for ETI for many reasons, but mainly because of her teammates, the company culture, and the ability to work on so many different project types!

Dan’s engineering skills and years of experience make him invaluable to ETI, while his cooking skills make him a favorite in the annual company chili cook-off.
Principal
Dan Thompson, PE
As a Mechanical Engineer at ETI, Dan takes on challenges with a keen eye for detail, a steady hand for accuracy, and the ability to make quick, efficient decisions, just as he does on the pool table, taking shots with the careful calculation of a skilled engineer. These engineering talents may give him an edge when sinking the eight ball, but it’s his three decades of experience that make him a skilled industry professional at ETI. Dan brings a focused spirit and competitive drive to ETI that helps his team create winning strategies. Although he may have finished third in the Las Vegas International Pool Championships, he’s number one with his clients, coworkers, and company.
