Cherry County Hospital

The Cherry County Hospital project was a renovation of 18,140 SF, and new additions totaling 16,600 SF. Cherry County Hospital is a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital located in Valentine, Nebraska. The goals of this project were to upgrade the existing building, as well as to add a kitchen, new emergency department including two new operating rooms, and a new patient wing, all while maintaining operation of the facility through comprehensive construction phasing. Constraints of the project required building overtop of the existing utility tunnel and overtop of the existing electrical service. The addition was done with Cannon Moss Brygger & Associates Architects.
